1 month--8 lbs 5 oz, 22" long
It's funny how I don't remember much from the first few months. I took to making notes in my phone just so I could capture a few memories for her scrapbook later on.
We were amazed right away by her alertness, expressions, and noises! We knew we truly had become parents when the majority of our conversations involved nursing, diapers, the numbers of poos and wets. And, when poops and farts became funny because they were Brynn's and so little! Our Pandora station changed to lullabies and children's music! And how, just taking a shower in peace and falling into bed never felt so good!
2 months--9 lbs 7 oz, 23" long
She started holding her head up. Began making more coos, gaas, and ahhs and smiling! Loves music, her play mat, mirrors, lights and her mobile. Digs being naked! Started sleeping through the night and started daycare.
3 months--10 lbs 4oz
Grasping and reaching. Holding head up more, stronger. Focusing and tracking. Recognizes us. Loves her kick and play piano and music. Hair starting to lightening. Does NOT like tummy time. Sleeping in the crib all night. New sounds and laughs!
4 months--11 lbs 14 oz, 25" long
Moving and grooving---kicks, reaching and holding. Grabbing toes at toes, holds knees up, rolls to side. Rolled a few times from tummy to back. Chews on fingers and fist. New sounds--yelling and singing. 1st time for a walk outside in stroller.
5 months--13 lbs 3.2 oz
Rolling over tummy to back. Loves playing with toes. Growth spurt! New noises. Loves sitting up in bumbo or propped up. Chewing on fingers. 3am parties!
6 months--14 lbs 10 oz, 26"
Loves sitting up, standing with help. Butt scooting, rolling on side. Mastered the tummy flip! Cereal and squash...1st veggie. Hair lightening and thinning. Rolling over both ways. Love her personality!
7 months--15 lbs 3.8 oz
Loves standing! So Happy! Tried squash, peas, carrots, green beans, pears and peaches. Swimming for the first time. Loves swimming and bath time. No crawling or sitting by herself yet. Discovered her tongue. Loves walks with Harry outside.
8 months--16 lbs
Sitting on her own. Feeding herself, gerber poofs! Bananas and applesauce, fruit. Sippy cups, cups with water and ice....loves what you have. Growling! Size 3 diapers. July 17th first tooth popped thru!
9 months--17 lbs
Busy, on the go. 2 bottom teeth. Independent!! Not sleeping! Loves walking with help. Tried peas, blueberries, Cheerios, frozen peaches, pasta, yogurt, carrots, avocado. Growing...not so much a baby...becoming a little girl!
